We know it’s only just September and the kids are only just back at school, but we are excited to let you know that the Kirk Ella & West Ella Christmas Lights Switch On — with fun fair, a festive Christmas market, and of course a visit from the Big Man himself — will take place outside St Andrew’s Church on Saturday 29th November from 3.30pm.

Last year’s expanded event was a huge success, with hundreds of local residents and visitors from further afield gathering outside St Andrew’s Church to enjoy the lights, music, and festive atmosphere.

This year, there will be stalls with seasonal gifts and treats, food and drink to keep you warm, and plenty of entertainment for all ages. Local choirs and performers will help set the mood, building up to the magical moment when the lights are switched on to mark the start of Christmas in Kirk Ella & West Ella.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to come together as a community, support local traders, and kick off the festive season in style. So, wrap up warm, bring your family and friends, and join us for what promises to be another memorable afternoon.
